At the Education Freedom Foundation, we empower families to choose the educational paths that best suit their children, offering support for traditional schools, homeschooling, private schools, charter schools, microschools, hybrid schools, and other innovative models. Through our initiatives and partnerships, we aim to address systemic barriers to educational fairness and empower families with diverse educational choices that promote lifelong learning and personal growth.
Our Start-a-School Initiative equips individuals and organizations to establish new classical and innovative schools and expand educational freedom. At its core is the Start-a-School Toolkit, a free, comprehensive resource offering step-by-step guidance tailored to diverse models, including private schools, charter schools, microschools, and hybrid programs. The Toolkit is a FREE resource to you, thanks to our generous donors, strategic partners, and other education freedom advocates.
In addition to the toolkit, we offer optional free mentorship and personalized guidance to support education entrepreneurs in launching, sustaining, and expanding school options for families. We aim to help build a dynamic education system that prepares students to thrive as thoughtful, engaged citizens.
Get an inside look at the Start-a-School Initiative in this brief introduction video, where EFF’s Founder and CEO, Erika Donalds, shares the vision, support, and resources available to help you launch your school with confidence.
Ready to take the next step? Alongside the Start-a-School Toolkit, the Edupreneur Network offers mentorship and guidance at no cost—made possible by our generous donors—supporting both those looking to start schools and established leaders working to enhance, sustain, or expand their schools and programs.
